IRS Commissioner Says “Tax Code Too Complex”

The IRS own head honcho, the commissioner, admits he doesn’t do his own taxes because “tax code is complex”. This is pretty outrageous because if the people who are enforcing these laws don’t understand them well enough to use them in their own life how can we trust them to be fair with enforcement of taxpayers?

This is a question many are asking and most folks think anyone who works at the IRS should have to do their own taxes. If they’re confident enough to do their own taxes then they must understand enough to properly enforce the tax code. That’s how the thinking goes and I tend to agree with that line of thought.
